China Eastern Airlines is an airline that specialises in both passenger and freight markets. The company offers international, domestic and regional flights as well as freight carrying services domestically and internationally. China Eastern Airline headquarters are located in Shanghai where the core hub is also located. The Airline also has regional hubs in Kunming and Xi’an. According to the company’s website China Eastern Air is in the top 5 in terms of passenger transportation volume worldwide (Servicing nearly 80 million passengers annually).  At the end of 2012 the company serviced 274 destinations along 429 routes with SkyTeam member airlines (an alliance of 16 airlines that offers an extensive global network) and 130 destinations along 142 routes with non-SkyTeam member airlines.
